Joy Division - Transmission
One of my favorite british bands, Ian Curtis was such a mysterious person, and I like mysteries.
If I ever got on a stage to be a singer I would love it if I was half the man he was up there. haha.
Dance dance dance..........
Talking Heads "Psycho Killer"
Oh oh oh OHHHHHHHH YAYAYAYAYA.
Such a tune. Such a vibe. So seasonally diverse.

Neon Indian - Deadbeat Summer
Neon Indian, based out of Brooklyn, is a new band that popped up recently and have a sound that immediately reminded me of fellow Brooklyn based band, MGMT. They definitely have that east coast sound such as Animal Collective and Akron/Family. This is there single that kicks ass, even though summer is over.

Richie Havens - Woodstock performance
He's got such amazing rhythm. This footage is such a treasure.
Neil Young Fascination
Mr. Neil Young. Revolution Blue off of On The Beach. Easily top five favorite albums of mine.
Revolution Blues
Well, we live in a trailer
at the edge of town
You never see us
'cause we don't come around.
We got twenty five rifles
just to keep
the population down.
But we need you now,
and that's why
I'm hangin' 'round.
So you be good to me
and I'll be good to you,
And in this land of conditions
I'm not above suspicion
I won't attack you,
but I won't back you.
Well, it's so good to be here,
asleep on your lawn.
Remember your guard dog?
Well, I'm afraid
that he's gone.
It was such a drag
to hear him
whining all night long.
Yes, that was me with the doves,
setting them free
near the factory
Where you built your computer,
love.
I hope you get the connection,
'cause I can't take
the rejection
I won't deceive you,
I just don't believe you.
Well, I'm a barrel of laughs,
with my carbine on
I keep 'em hoppin',
till my ammunition's gone.
But I'm still not happy,
I feel like
there's something wrong.
I got the revolution blues,
I see bloody fountains,
And ten million dune buggies
comin' down the mountains.
Well, I hear that Laurel Canyon
is full of famous stars,
But I hate them worse than lepers
and I'll kill them
in their cars.

Battles - Atlas
K this is such a sick song. And they play it live so well. New technology with all these voice boxes is ridiculous, but I think this song shows how cool it can be. Nasty nasty stuff.

Discovery - Carby
SONG OF THE DAY...Its hot in Seattle and music sounds so like a pow wow in this indian summer. If you like vampire weekend or ra ra riot you have to like discovery, cause its a combo of the two. SHUT THE FRONT DOOR ITS NICE OUT!

Creedence
Someday never comes by creedence clearwater revival. Such a great song. John Fogerty's voice is like sweet moses crossing the desert, straight forward but wanders here and there.
This is my favorite C.C.R song because it's about the innocence of a child asking their dad some serious questions about death and tragedy, and the response by the dad is to say, someday you'll understand. But what do we do if we never understand why? Papa lied. Cause someday never comes.

M. Ward
So in anticipation of the Monsters of Folk release, I found an M. Ward video that makes me really tingle. He's got one of those voices that makes that could cure aids.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_kidnapped_girl_found
Just read this article. It's about a girl who was kidnapped in 1991 and she just showed up at a police station. That's crazy.
This might be too soon to discuss, but I really wonder what her dating life is going to be like.
"Hey how ya doin yada yada yada...I was kidnapped for 18 years"
I feel strange right now.

Mr Mojo Risin
So I'm pretty fascinated by the doors and Jim Morrison. I'm so impressed by the fact that he figures out his name (Jim Morrison) can be rearranged to spell Mr Mojo Risin.
ANAGRAM how cool. I really want to find an anagram for my name. I'm going to work on that for a while now. Enjoy some footage of Mr Mojo Risin.
Mosquito en mi facha. Mosquito in my face. Mosquito en mi cara.
I don't know why that sentence is so amusing to me, but I find myself saying it in either of those three languages throughout the day. It just rolls off the tongue real well I guess.
I decided that if I ever started a band someday, I would name it either Mosquito en my facha or The Pinecones (the latter has actually already been formed by myself and two fellers named phil, but we decided that our music is not going to be released because it is too enchanted for the public ear).
Okay well as most of my friends know, I'm really into music and have been my whole life. It's my career goal, it's my daily goal, and it's my goal for this blog to explore music more deeply and hopefully share it with others.
